WHERE IM FROM

WHERE IM FROM
Where i'm from it smells like my mums nice
cooking and different seasonings.

Where i'm from i hear the roar of a Dirt bike
starting up and the t.v and the steak sizzling.

Where I'm from i see cows running
around and the creek flowing.

Where im from in feel at home and
safe cause i know that i have my family with me.

Where i’m from it taste like my mum’s cooking
and her burgers which is my favourite dish.

  1. Hi Tyran

I think this is a fabulous poem well done! The words you've chosen conjure up a real picture in my mind of what life at home must be like for you. To be able to write with feeling is something to be celebrated because it helps other people connect with your ideas. Have you heard of a wordsmith? You should look it up. I think you have the makings of being a very good one.

    Nga mihi
